Rita Cornele was born on March 7, 1947 in Middletown, OH, to James Cracraft and Margaret Cracraft.
She started her career as a Medical Claims Adjuster and went on to work for Metlife for ten years.

Rita married Richard Cornele. The couple had 3 children, Cindy Niekamp, Richard Cornele, Deceased, Lori S. Lain - Cornele.

Rita was best known for being loving wife of 61 years, crossword, puzzles, bowling, reading books, cruises and grandmother.

Rita is survived by Richard Cornele - spouse, Cindy Niekamp - daughter, Scott Niekamp - son-in-law, Richard Cornele - son, Kristie Cornele - daughter-in-law, Andrew Niekamp - grandchild, Alexis Lowman - grandchild, Abbagayle Kelly - grandchild, Jackson Cornele - grandchild, Branham Fugate - grandchild, Samuel Fugate - grandchild, Eleven Great Grandchildren.

Rita is preceded in death by James Cracraft - father, Margaret Cracraft - mother, Lori Lain - Cornele - daughter, Clarissa Cornele - grandchild, Richie Fugate - great - grandchild.

The Visitation for Mrs Rita Cornele will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM until Services at Noon at Briele Blvd Church of God, 2000 N. Breiel Blvd., Middletown, Ohio 45042.

Burial: Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum, Middletown, OH.
