Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kayanna Rose Snelling.

Colonel Snelling was a member of the Moose Lodge 501 and the Eagles Lodge 3458. His family says he was “a pretty good cook” who also enjoyed gardening and cutting the grass. He was very well loved and, most of all, cherished the time he spent with his friends and family.

A Celebration of Gregory “Colonel” Snelling’s life will be held at a later date. Woodside Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
